Abstract
Ten chronic disabled patients following severe head injury were studied to evaluate th effect of Cerebrolysin¢ç, a standardised organ-specific mixture of amino-acids, on disturbed cerebral functions.
Cerebrolysin was administered in two doses of 2m1, daily during 30 days.
While evaluating the efficiency of the preparation, we took into account : the genera I state by Glasgow outcome scale, motor, speech and memory functions, and brain stem evoked potentials(BSEP).
Cerebrolysin might have a positive influence on the memory function and BSEP. An the treatment might be more effective in more disabled patients than in less disable ones.
